Opening up with someone new takes a great deal of vulnerability and continued trust. A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the pillars of a meaningful therapy experience, and my hope is by sharing some parts of myself, prospective clients can see if we may be a good fit.
I was born in England and grew up in both the UK and just outside of New York City in Northern New Jersey. Art has always been a significant part of my life since I was young; I still paint and create mixed media art regularly, valuing it as a powerful means to express and process emotions. As a former high school and college athlete (rowing), I understand the challenges and strengths of the mind-body connection, something I bring into the therapy room.
By the age of 14, I had decided I wanted to become a psychotherapist, but my official journey began in 2016 at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. During my time at NYU, I focused primarily on Child and Adolescent Mental Health in both school and inpatient hospital settings. After earning my master’s degree, I worked in community mental health and group practice settings in New York City. I spent five years training at The William Alanson White Institute, a relational psychoanalytic institute in Manhattan, where I continued my education in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy and Eating Disorders.
In addition to relational psychoanalytic informed therapy, I offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic Integration, and will be EMDR trained Spring 2025. Additionally, I offer clinical supervision and am currently a supervisor for the Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program at The William Alanson White Institute.

“When we become aware that we do not have to escape our pains, but that we can mobilize them into a common search for life, those very pains are transformed from expressions of despair into signs of hope” - Henri Nouwen
